Matthew Writes-

Throughout the past 10 years, there have been blessings with many opportunities to travel. From flying to different countries and speaking to different people, it all results in experiencing many different cultures. Haiti, Panama, Suriname and even Guyana, there was one thing in common: the need is great! As the mission statement says, Lion Ministries, Inc is dedicated to providing hope and advancement to the underprivileged children throughout the world. In all that I do, I want to make sure that I am an example to the children. I pray they may grow up wise and smart, educated and exposed to the right and wrong. They should be exposed to the old technology and to the new technology and ultimately, to faith and hope. This is the key to helping a nation in need.

Within the past 2 years, there has been serious amounts of planning and preparation to provide an investment into the children of Guyana and I wanted to make this public in efforts of receiving assistance. By working with Camp Wesleyana, we have come up with a plan in providing access to communication and technology. This is in efforts to helping the people advance and continue moving forward.

Camp Wesleyana is a beautiful camp ground off of the Soesdyke Linden Highway in Guyana South America. It is accessible to all who attend the Wesleyan Church but open to all who want to understand a higher level of living. Besides the main fact that you can find spiritual and physical peace through Christ, the natural atmosphere from the amazon rain forests allows you to find peace and understanding from just listening to the birds and seeing the wild life.

Update September 9, 2019

Its been a long time since I updated about this project and I wanted to write something to update you all. First and foremost, thank you goes out to all that supported and helped in the many struggles we faced getting to and from Guyana in the past 2 years. We were able to complete the renovations of the building but still pending the full satellite set up and connection. This is the last piece to complete the internet cafe and release this to the public. Keep us in your prays as we work towards completion.

Currently aiming to supply the cafe with equipment such as laptops, computers and printers and fax machines. We open to all donations.
